Error "printhead not installed" 1401 1403 1405 on Canon printers

The printhead is probably broken.


The last thing to try:
  • Remove the cartridges
  • Remove the printhead
  • Power off the printer and wait a minute;
  • Power on.
Installe the printhead and the cartridges

    How do I remove the printhead? The instruction should have a link to directions how to remove the printhead.

    I put in a new printer head and the error message 1403 still appears. What else can I try?
